Thanksgiving

This year we enjoyed Thanksgiving at the Uttz Home.  It was the first year in over 2 years that both sons were back living in Tennessee.  So naturally I thought a son/mother photo would be long over due.
The fall colors in their yard were beautiful so Sierra had to take a leaf hunt to find some pretty ones.  I got a shot with my sweet man too; long overdue.
The colors were too good to pass up so we took one of the family too.  Jonathan had the honor of carving the turkey.  He did a good job, maybe too good.  It may be his permanent job now. :)  Pam made a wonderful meal.  We added my family's broccoli and cheese casserole as well as the corn casserole.  Both favorites at our Thanksgiving down in Georgia.  Phil's brother, David, and sister, Debbie, and her husband, Tom, also joined the feast. (Phil has those pictures on his camera)  For dessert Grandpa and Grandma as well as Jonathan's Uncle Michael, Aunt Paula, and cousin Allen.  Before dessert we put together a " Thankful Tree."  On it everyone wrote down a couple of things they were thankful for in the past year and Sierra had the honor of gluing and pasting them to the tree.  Nice time of reflecting.  It may have become a tradition with the Uttz Family.
