Alaska, Tracy Arm

On Sunday of the trip, day 3, we sailed through a portion of Alaska called Tracy Arm.  Lots of icebergs in the water and got to see a glacier as well.  Lots of nature pictures in this set.
Morning walk on the wet cold deck.  Refreshing!
Maggie with her Bapa on the left bottom, Sierra and her Aunt Jena and the right bottom.

Mid morning walking up on the upper deck taking in the view after not seeing land for a couple of days.
Overcast cloudy day, but still pretty views.

First pictures coming into Tracy Arm.  Lots of icebergs in the water.
Amazing waterfalls in the mountains.  Still low clouds at this point in the viewing.

Such amazing views...picture rarely catch the true beauty.  So beautiful!

I took this one because I could have sat in the pool outside in the snow and cold weather in the sea view pool if I really wanted too.  But alas, I choose to keep my warm clothes on instead.
My brother and sister-in-law on the right.  Eric and me on the right.

Sailing through Tracy Arm.  My mom is laughing at Brian, the one taking the picture, below.
I have to make a quick comment about my brother-in-laws shown below.  These two are fun and silly and know how to enjoy life as you can see, but I have to thank them for watching out for me and taking time to help me specifically on this trip since Jonathan wasn't there.  It meant a lot and didn't go unnoticed.  Thanks to the both of you for caring so much.

Wow, wow and wow!

Liam is getting sweet kisses from his Aunt Jena.  Our little lumber jack man on trip, so cute!
Three daughters with their mom.  No resemblance at all. :)

Family shots above... Durhams and Beises.
How magnificent is our God, right!?
I thought this picture gave a good perspective of how large these mountains were and how close we were to them.
Brian on the left....the door we had to go through to get out on the front deck of the ship on the right.  They only opened it up this particular day.  Great views in all directions.

This picture above has a short story.  We came upon the magnificent glacier seen in the middle between the mountains.  At the same time my sister, Sami notice the triangular shaped iceberg coming into view.  It gave a symmetrical view so we had to got a good shot of it.  Pretty AMAZING huh?!

Sierra with her Mommy.  Eric with his Mom.
So right in the middle of Tracy Arm, the middle of nowhere, was a small island.  If you look close you can see the orange tent pitched on it. Yep, someone was staying there.  How crazy is that?!  But you have to agree their view when they wake up in the morning is like no other.

Cute shot to the top right my Dad took of the two of us.  Sierra turning the "wheel" of the ship on the right.  There is a song on a Dora episode where they sing, "Isa turn the wheel turn the wheel Isa" and that is what she is doing.
Lots of pictures for one day, but is was a scenic day...
