Wyatt's 2nd Birthday (Letter and Birthday pics)

Happy 2nd Birthday Adventurous Wyatt!

It’s hard for me to believe sometimes that you are already two. You add so much joy to our everyday lives and keep your mom and dad on their toes.  You started walking at 13 months and quickly took to the cutest run I’ve ever seen on a toddler and now you are jumping with both feet off the ground.  You took your time with talking but now keep repeating yourself until we repeat it and you know you are understood.  Some of your first words were Uh-Oh, mama, dada, crackers and “melmo” Elmo.
This year we went on a family vacation to Folly Beach, SC and you loved it!  You show yourself to be a pretty adaptable kid and willing to go with the flow when needed.  In April you got to go on your second plane ride across the country to CA to visit Jeff, Lisa and Gabby.  I think you took to their dog Coco as your best pal there.  You had a fun day in Disney and again loved the beach so much you cried when we had to leave. This year your cousins from Africa came back to the states and you and your cousin Toby met for the first time.  You two are truly two peas in a pod and have a blast together.
You absolutely love the outdoors.  You have an obsession with “mawn mowers” lawnmowers and know exactly anytime sometime starts theirs up.  You have your own lawnmower and love to race it down the driveway or cut the grass. You have loved the pool and are fearless in the water.  You jump off the side on your own and love swimming with your puddle jumper by yourself. You got to experience quite a bit of snow this winter.  You loved sledding but didn’t last long in the wet cold weather. You show a great interest in construction trucks and motorcycles, which your Daddy loves. Daniel Tiger, Elmo and The Hive with Buzzbee are some of your favorites show to watch.  You have come to love reading.
You and your sister are good buds and have a lot of fun hanging out and playing together.  You already know how to terrorize her.  Something brothers just know how to do. You started sharing a room this summer and seem to appreciate each other’s companionship.  For a while you would walk around the house with one shoe off and one on and got mad if someone tried to change it.  You do get frustrated at times and have a thing for pinching but your overall demeaning is laid back. You’ve had this thing with getting your arms out of your car seat straps while driving down the road.  We are hoping to break you of that.
You are a snuggler, which I love.  You still really care for your blankie and paci though you are learning to leave them in your bed. You have already shown an interest in using the potty.  You are very adventurous, extremely observant of detail, very loving with your snuggles and hugs and kisses, busy with a run almost everywhere you go, a boundary pusher, a climber, friendly, helpful, have a love for music and any sort of physical fun. You love to “tackle” your Daddy and “fix” your Mama’s hair. I thank God that he has given you to our family.  It is truly richer and better with you in it.  I know you are going to make a great big brother to Barrett.
I love you my little man, Mommy
