Williamson County Fair

Few shots from the Williamson County Fair.  We went with our good friends the Antseys and Mathiesens.  The girls really enjoy each other.  Before the others got there we were hanging out inside and the Party Animals Group came on and played music.  Sierra was in awe of Kaiya, the Kangaroo or as she put it "pink dancing girl." So later when she got a chance to give her a hug and say hi she was thrilled.  They always had a guy doing balloons and she had a heart made.

Pony rides were a must for all the girls too.  Sierra decided to name her pony Strawberry.  Anyone surprised at this...we weren't :)
The fair had a wonderful kids area set up.  I am not sure what previous years have had, but this was perfect.  Each kid is given a basket and apron.  They basically go through different jobs of agriculture and "worked" throughout different rooms.  They fed chickens, picked apples in an orchard, milked cows, picked and planted vegetables, brushed sheep, and then at the end all the kids turned in their items from the basket, were given money, and got to pick out a real treat from the grocery store.  Sierra picked chocolate milk.
Sierra made me smile...she walked up to a pretend cow and started getting all of her food items out of her basket and fed them to the cow.  She has always had a great sense of pretend play and she showed it here.  The cow ate an apple, fish, pepper, and potato.  Sweet girl....
Last shot I took was of Sierra "planting" some seeds with her Daddy.  A fun time at the fair.  Glad I sucked it up with my big belly and went.  Love soaking in these moments with my family and good friends.
