The first year in eight years all of my siblings, my parents, myself, and now our spouses and kids were all together on Christmas Day. I made some cute props for picture taking that everyone seemed to have fun taking part in.
My parents started the tradition of a "Cowboy Christmas" several years back. This year they surprised the grand kids with a horse coming to visit on Christmas Eve.
They all loved getting to take rides around the yard. Here are a couple of shots of the guys and gals. Fun enough, unplanned, in the same order as their spouse. :)
Our Cowboy Christmas would not be complete without a couple different games of poker. Serious stuff...
Cute cousins together in their new Christmas pjs made by Mimi. Shot of the kids with Bapa and Mimi together. That number will nearly double next year.
Fourteen stockings on the banister...not sure we'll fit too many more.
Another fun part of Cowboy Christmas is shooting Christmas ornaments in the backyard with BB guns. Can you tell who likes this the most?
Christmas dinner always includes steaks, yum! Nice to have all of the family together this year. Praying it will come again sooner than later.

I am loving the idea of a cowboy Christmas, may need to speak with my husband and steal your tradition...
