Romans 5
3-5There's more to come:
We continue to shout our praise even when we're hemmed in with troubles,
because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and
how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping
us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as
this, we're never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can't
round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into
our lives through the Holy Spirit!
Proverbs 3
5-12 Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
don't try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he's the one who will keep you on track.
Don't assume that you know it all.
Run to God! Run from evil!
Your body will glow with health,
your very bones will vibrate with life!
Honor God with everything you own;
give him the first and the best.
I stand on this scripture as well. God knows everything.
