Mother's Day

Nice day for Mother's Day.  Sierra made me the flower hand print in church.  She kept saying "hand and color."  Its been fun because it is the first Mother's Day she can do little things like this for me.  Love it.  On the right is her sitting in her "chair" as she said and this weekend she got to be in Daddy's truck, which for whatever reason she thought was extremely cool.  So here she is smiling proud being in Daddy's  truck.  She loved the window being rolled down and she called that "cold" because the wind was blowing.  Such a funny girl when it comes to naming things other words.
Jonathan bought BBQ on the way home from San Antonio and we had a picnic by Lake Nasworthy.  It was my first time to really find a spot by it and hang out.  I must say the area we went to is now my favorite place for "view" "scenery" in San Angelo.  I have had a hard time finding a place I find beautiful here.  Sunsets/sunrises are beautiful but the scenery is not.  But here it was.... below Sierra got to see a large fish a man caught that day.  As well as some pretty flowers growing in the grass by the lake.

Pretty tall grasses, marsh areas out in the water and beautiful blue sky.
Enjoying my sweet girl on Mother's Day

These birds were almost like a repeated commercial.  Every few minutes they somehow reappeared and flew out of the marsh area again and again and again.  Fun to watch.
Sierra enjoying her Daddy too.  She didn't want to hold hands on the dock, she thought she was fearless and liked how it rocked.  Nice relaxing evening completed with Baskin Robbins ice cream cones.  Sierra was really excited about that part.
